Things to Remember
In order to make the leasing process as convenient as possible, we require certain information from you. When visiting the rental office at the property where you wish to live, please bring the following:
- Name and telephone number of your current landlord, so we may call for a reference.
- Employer name, telephone number, contact, and address, so we may confirm your place of employment and income information.
- Social insurance number to ensure an accurate credit report.
To further streamline the application process, you may download an application form; complete the form and fax it to the rental office of the property you have selected. This will allow our resident managers to complete the landlord reference, employment confirmation, and credit report steps prior to your visit to the property, which saves you time.
When renting an apartment, we will require payment for last month’s rent (in Ontario) or a security deposit (outside Ontario) and a post-dated cheque for the first month’s rent dated the first day of your lease.
Rental payments may be made by cheque or we offer the convenience of pre-authorized payment (PAP), in which case a void cheque is needed. Cash payments for deposits or rent are not accepted.
Please ask our Resident Managers about the Resident Insurance Program that provides coverage for your personal belongings and liability.
